As an interdisciplinary researcher, I participate in many different conference series, including CHI, OOPSLA, CSCW, DIS, SIGCSE, VL/HCC and IS-EUD. For most of these I have taken on multiple roles in many different years as part of an organizing or programme committee. I list some highlights below.

As editorial service, I currently sit on the board Human-Computer Interaction and Interacting with Computers. I also regularly review research proposals for The National Science Foundation and have recently been recruited to serve on panels for the European Research Council.
